Welcome to the Board Game Diner, where we're serving up a full menu of fun of the cardboard variety.

I created a streaming show on 13+ targeting people who have no idea about the amazing world of board games that are out there now.

I built on the diner theme every way I could. I was your server at the counter, going over a themed menu each episode, highlighting what makes the games interesting. At the end, we'd summarize what we covered by going over the receipt. Lastly, instead of the server getting a tip, I gave a tip to the viewer to make their board gaming adventure easier.

I animated the creation of the 13+ logo using meeples for the open of the show.

I found a diner that fit the look I wanted for this show and manipulated the image to get it how I wanted. Then I shot a bunch of my board games on a desk in my office so I could insert them into the shot. Then I shot over a green screen with the table in front of me.

Each episode has a theme, so I show what I'm serving up that episode by displaying the episode title on an order sheet like they do in a diner.

I summarize the games I covered by going over the receipt at the end of the show. Then there is one more piece where the server gives a tip. This was usually some piece of advice to help people ease into modern gaming.

This was a special Halloween themed episode which ran during October taking full advantage of the spooky season. I also enjoyed playing with the normal tropes I had established in the previous episodes and making them "spooky".
